I'm not dead!
Whahahah!! And my cold's long gone though I still cough a bit sometimes but anyways...
I ended up not going with Seika and Ana for the HK trip (Hontou ni gomenasai, you guys. Babawi na lang po me next time. Have a great and safe trip!!!) coz I used the money I set aside for that to apply for the NCLEX and enroll in a review center. I'll be staying in Manila for around 2 weeks tops in November for the review classes, but I've already started with the online review. From the simulated test I tried on the review site the NCLEX is a heck of a lot more difficult than the NLE. Waaaaaah @_@; I NEED to study study study study... you get my point.
I haven't started passing resumes to hospitals yet. Figured I'd do that after the November review classes end (plus I'm only scheduled to register at PRC on Nov.8 so I still don't have my license) so in case I get any call backs I won't have any schedule conflicts. Grace A. complained how hard it was to get work from the local (private) hospitals if you don't have any backing from someone already working there, and I get reminded of my aunt asking me whether I'd like her to talk to her friend who's an assistant chief nurse at the regional hospital or another friend of hers who owns a private hospital in San Fernando City... waaaaaah... to think I refused my aunt hahahahah!!! Dunno. Just wanna see if I can get work on my own first. I'm thinking that if by mid-2008 I still didn't have a job I'd beg for her help wahahahhahaah ^____^
Tomorrow's the oath-taking ceremony. Shoot. Just the thought of having to wear that (sweat-inducing) gala uniform again gives me headaches. Ah, Basta! Nobody in this world would get me to wear those uber ugly and uncomfortable pointed white shoes tomorrow. No fricking way.
My body clock's seriously getting jumbled up coz I'm turning my days into sleeping time and nights into time for studying. Para akong security guard dito sa bahay. I wake up around noon (at the earliest) or around 5pm (latest) and go to sleep at around 7am (earliest) or 10am. Surprisingly, my headaches haven't shown themselves yet despite this weird cycle of mine. Must be because I'm getting enough sleep anyways.
I also bought myself a 65% discounted hardbound copy of the Hunters of Dune and Anne Rice's Christ the Lord Out of Egypt. I've already finished reading Christ the Lord and am starting Hunters of Dune tonight. And nope, I haven't read the last Harry Potter book yet and unless my uncle really does buy it for me I don't have any plans of buying it either. Found an online copy of it, but I don't really feel like staring at my monitor for that long to read a book. I like curling up in bed while reading, despite being told that doing so worsens my astigmatism, so no I didn't download that copy so I won't be able to read it.
