It's "This Love". An ending song from the anime Blood+. Thanks to it I got introduced to Angela Aki and now have all her available songs on repeat in my mp3 player ^_^

Feeling Nostalgic...

I was in 5th grade in elementary when IBC Channel 13 aired Candy Candy every Sunday at 6:00pm. It was probably the very first anime series I really became a fan of. I loved watching that series; so much so that I even remember taping it, memorizing the opening and ending songs (which lyrics and melodies I somehow still remember until now...), and talking to my classmates about it nonstop on Monday mornings when we meet in school. Too bad they stopped showing it about a few episodes after one of the major characters died. *sigh* I remember virtually crying my heart out when that happened... and I was so pissed off with IBC for stopping the series airing, but I really couldn't do anything.

So now, around 15 years later (I'm 26 already ok?! There you need not calculate my current age hehehe ^_^0) I finally got a hold of the complete (scanlated) manga (I know, piracy and all that, but I really tried looking for the orig manga and videos at our local shops but couldn't find any trace of it). I read the nine volumes overnight. I just couldn't stop! Not because the story was so good -- to be truthful, if I didn't feel so nostalgic about it I'd diss the plot for being so soap-opera-ish! -- but then I always wanted to know what happened to Candy afterwards.

*long heartfelt sigh*

The picture is the last page in the manga. It's a flashback of six year old Candy with her "Prince on the Hill".

*another long sigh* Sometimes I hate that I've gotten creative writing classes back at AdMU coz I always end up knowing how the plot would go around the first quarter of any story/movie/book... wish I didn't guess who the "Prince" really was when the character got introduced. The foreshadowing in this story's so darn obvious that I wish I'd finished reading/watching it when I didn't know ziltch about writing.

But anyways, I still I want to read the third novel! Wahahaha!! Because it's supposed to be a continuation of the events in both the anime and manga. Too bad they never made it into manga or anime and that it's not available in English. And that it's out of print! Ah well... Heard there's some legal issues regarding this title, but I don't really care anymore. I finally got to finish this story!!! Wai!!! I'll be happy with just that.

What your first name means:

SpanishFemaleTrust.

Your number is: 5

The characteristics of #5 are: Expansiveness, visionary, adventure, the constructive use of freedom.

The expression or destiny for #5:
The number 5 Expression endows with the wonderful characteristic of multi-talents and versatility. You can do so many things well. The tone of the number 5 is constructive freedom, and in your drive to attain this freedom, you will likely be the master of adaptability and change. You are good at presenting ideas and knowing how to approach people to get what you want. Naturally, this gives you an edge in any sort of selling game and spells easy success when it comes to working with people in most jobs. Your popularity may lead you toward some form of entertainment or amusement. Whatever you do, you are clever, analytical, and a very quick thinker.

If there is too much of the 5 energy in your makeup, you may express some the negative attitudes of the number. Your restless and impatient attitude may keep you from staying with any project for too long. Sometimes you can be rather erratic and scatter yourself and your energies. You have a hard time keeping regular office hours and maintaining any sort of a routine. You tend to react strongly if you sense that your freedom of speech or action is being impaired or restricted in any way. As clever as you are, you may have a tendency to make the same mistakes over and over again because much of your response is glib reaction rather that thoughtful application. You are in a continuous state of flux brought by constantly changing interests.

A Soul Urge number of 22 means:
The Soul Urge of the master number 22 is very much that of the master builder. The 22 gives a broad, universal outlook with a rather practical and common-sense approach. You have especially high intelligence, with an unusual perception and awareness. This number often denotes a high degree of diplomatic abilities and high ideals. You are a very capable person and you may possess special leadership abilities that you can and should develop. People respect you and recognize your superior foresight and vision.

The negative side of the 22 soul urge is a high degree of nervous energy and a tendency to be very dominating. It is unfortunate that all who possess the urge of 22 do not use its energies to the greatest advantage; but then it should be recognized that these energies are understandably the most difficult to focus and direct.

An Inner Dream number of 1 means:
You dream of being a leader and one who is in charge. You want to be known for your courage, daring, and original ideas. You seek unconquered heights. People may get a first impression that you are very aggressive and sure of

What Be Your Nerd Type?
Your Result: Literature Nerd

Does sitting by a nice cozy fire, with a cup of hot tea/chocolate, and a book you can read for hours even when your eyes grow red and dry and you look sort of scary sitting there with your insomniac appearance? Then you fit this category perfectly! You love the power of the written word and it's eloquence; and you may like to read/write poetry or novels. You contribute to the smart people of today's society, however you can probably be overly-critical of works.

It's okay. I understand.

Found another one

Another artist, I mean, whose works are just wonderful. Was browsing through deviantart.com when I came unto one of Marta Dahlig's pieces. My favorite in her gallery is this one:

Looking closely at her face, at all the cobwebs, and the complete dejection of the pose of her body just sent shivers running down my spine and goose bumps to rise on my skin. This piece is called "Love" and the single thought that came into my mind when I viewed it was that I don't want to be her but I can sadly relate to what she feels. Maybe that's why it's my favorite piece, not only because it's beautiful, but because it also terrifies me.

I also love her "Seven Deadly Sins" series. I especialy like Vanity and Wrath.

You can check out her gallery here:
