Missed school yesterday coz of a real super painful migraine. Lotsa things apparently happened while I wasn't around; one of which is that I supposedly won 1st prize for this on the spot short story writing contest. It's not that I'm not glad about the whole winning bit, but... I wasn't exactly happy with what I wrote and right now, I'm really curious why I even won at all. I mean, even I didn't like what I've written, so how can other people do? Know what I mean?

Ah well... a win's a win. Wasn't there for the photo op though... sucks to be sick.

This is from a card a classmate gave me during Chinese New Year. He's not Chinese blood, not fully, but his family follows the customs so, he gave me and a few others in class these red cards with the chinese character for love on them. When I opened mine, it said this:

Watched Constantine yesterday despite the bad review my classmate gave it and the supposed bomb threat. I half liked it and half didn’t. Dunno, it was too predictable! Jim, my classmate, said the story was barely understandable; but I found it too easily so. I kinda knew where they were gonna take the plot several minutes before they actually showed what was gonna happen on screen. *sigh* Hate the fact that they made Gabriel so horrifyingly mental, and they could’ve found a better-looking actor for Lucifer, I mean, come on, the guy’s supposed to be a former angel, not just that, the most beautiful one before the fall, there should at least be traces of that! Plus, why the heck would Lucifer himself collect the soul of *spoiler* isn’t that the job of Death? Really... ah well, whatever.

They won! Iker did several very good *as in my gosh how did he manage to do those good* saves making the final score 1-2 in favor of Real Madrid. Zidane's play wasn't his best, Owen's goal was almost miraculous, Guti's as adorable as ever, and Beckham is, well... himself. ^^0 Watched the bloody game at around 1am in ESPN and gawds, was I loud ^^0 I screeched every time Iker had to work to block an incoming ball and yowled in glee every time he did so. I know, I know... why the sudden interest in football, you ask? I dunno myself.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!! 

Ever since I learned about football I've been crazy over it; I even follow Liga Espanyola, UEFA, and just about any game that they show on cable tv. Good thing I wake up real early, I get to watch them live on ESPN ^^ I adore Real Madrid ^^ Not because of David Beckham, although admittedly Becks is scrumptious ^^0
