May umaaligid na magnanakaw dito sa area namin. They stole our neighbor's love pet love birds (of all things) and another neighbor's kitchen things. Considering I come home at around 8pm every MWF, the news somehow doesn't alarm me too much.

Got slightly pissed off with the result of one of my prelim exams. Won't say which subject though. Basta, nakakainis lang na yung kumopya sakin mas mataas pa yung nakuhang grade, and nakakainis rin na minali nung prof yung isang item kahit dapat tama. bwisit talaga. perfect na sana.

About another prelim exam, seems na totoo ata yung rumor na narinig ko about my Anatomy prelim. Dunno if it's really true yet though, I'll know pag binalik na ni Sir yung test papers namin. Shemay, sana nga totoo coz that would mean ako nakakuha ng highest sa lahat ng classes na hinahandle niya. That would be nice. More than nice.

Today we had the Prolife Seminar. Shemay, ganun pala magpa-abort?! Shit! Kawawa yung baby! Lamog-lamog yung katawan, crushed yung ulo, or burned to a crisp with saline solution. Shit talaga. Taragisan, pano nasisikmura ng mga practicioners ng abortion ang ganun na operation?! It's totally inhuman!

I've known them for twenty-three years and I only discovered last Sunday night why some people call my dad Jessie.

Asked them why they never told me they had such names, and both of them answered that it's coz I never asked.

Asked them as well why oh why they gave me such a short name, and they answered the usual thing: that my surname was already too long as it was.

Gah. Whatever.

Just goes to show that even if you've known a person your entire life, there's still something new you'll be able to discover about him/her.

Just came from Tutuban with my mom. Bought two more or less pale yellow shirts, one girly-girly one that’s in white, and black denim jeans.

Now I need only find a cute pair of sandals to match the black and pale yellow ensemble I’m planning on wearing. That and some decent make up…

Fine. I am slowly becoming just a tad tiny bit girly. I’m not in any way close to being a kikay though, thank the gods.

Am posting this just coz I’m in a severely gushy mood. 
 

Watched Kill Bill 2.
 
Loved it. 
 
Was slightly irritated when the people behind me kept asking each other why the hell the Bride/Beatrice was crying her eyes out inside the bathroom near the end, after she killed Bill.  Guess they didn’t understand the complications of what the character chose to do.  She did kill the people she vowed to kill.  She got her revenge, and technically won on that account.  But it wasn’t a clean win.  She killed the one person who truly loved her: Bill. 
 
Of course, he too was a murdering bastard; and the fact that he shot her in the head all those years ago could never be forgotten or even be forgiven.  But the thing is, Bill’s character is very understandable.  He was jealous.  Like he said, his heart was broken, thinking that the woman he loved was killed.  And then next time he sees her, she’s getting married and is pregnant.  He probably felt the worst of betrayals.  And enraged heart broken feeling betrayed self-confessed murderers are probably the worst people to provoke… so, he is rather understandable.  And quite admirable too if you really think about it.  I felt sad when she killed him.  I didn’t want her to kill Bill.  But I understand why she had to.
 
And the other ironic thing is that the four people working for Bill who came and shot everyone at the chapel were all probably at first thinking that they were there to avenge their comrade and friend against the person who killed her.  Well, in effect, they did do that.  They killed the Bride’s alter ego. 
 
Gah.  Whatever.  I just absolutely loved the film.  Wouldn’t think twice about buying my own copy of it.

Prelims start Wednesday next week.  Not really hassled about it coz I’ve been burning my eyes out studying.  (An absolute first!)
 
The weekend after the prelims I’d need to buy a pale yellow shirt for the Nursing Dept. Acquaintance Party.  Why we need to have an acquaintance party, I do not understand.  Something about us getting to know the other sections in our year level as well as the people in the other year levels below and ahead of us.  Like I care to get to know them.

Seriously though.  Gastos nanaman kasi e.  And hassle pa.  The only advantage I see to going is that I’d see Sir in something else other than his uniform. Wahahaha!!! ^_^

Wonder how the heck I manage to find time to go to the movie house and watch? Dunno myself. Maybe coz I've almost given up watching t.v. except for the daily news and my only form of entertainment is to watch a movie during the weekends so I won't go insane with my studies? I mean, Anatomy & Physiology is fun to learn and all, but I do deserve an occasional break from the studying monotony. Lest I get bored and play hooky during the weekdays.

Recent obsessions:
Listening to “Sora” from Vision of Escaflowne, the movie. I listen to it every time I go to sleep. I’ve burned a cd full of that song and that song only and it’s on repeat in my stereo. Nice. I just love the sounds. It’s ancient Romanian pala? So that’s why I couldn’t understand anything the blasted lyrics was saying. Ah, well. The song’s still nice.

Another obsession are my prof in *beep* and another prof in *beep*. Gods, the first one I absolutely hate while the other I absolutely adore. The one I like (Ana-nechan, don’t say who, okay?) reminds me somewhat of Rus’s kenkoy personality mixed with some of David’s more serious character. Maybe that’s why I have such a healthy liking of him, coz he reminds me of those two. Considering, may pagka-James din siya in terms of how focused he can be with his interests and work. Gah. He’s just real nice.

I don’t want to talk about the other prof who I’ll only rant about.

I'm supposed to be researching about the Rotary Club of the Phils, specifically the one here in Pampanga so I better stop blogging now.

I absolutely dislike my current prof in *beep* I’ve ranted to my mom about his teaching style when I got home today so I won’t do the same thing here. I can’t wait for next next week to arrive coz that’d be the time we’d have another prof for that subject.

I did promise myself that I’d get past my irritation and frustration with his teaching style and ace the concept he’s in charge of. Pero nakikita ko pa lang syang parating sa classroom sumasakit na ulo ko.

I’m still enjoying Anatomy & Physiology. Why, I can’t really say. The prof said that it’s a hard subject if one doesn’t study so I study and he’s right, it isn’t /that/ hard. The body’s functions and parts are kinda easy to understand. Hay malay. Maybe I kinda did stumble into my calling... I remember enjoying Biology back in high school...

On non-school related stuff:
Genrou, my beloved computer acquired a virus just this week and crashed. Had to replace his RAM, set me back around 2500 kaya nabawasan nanaman yung money ko for his speakers. Kahit kailan talaga, pag may pera na ko for the speaker system I want for Genrou, laging may masisira sa kanya na mas importante sa speakers kaya kakailanganin kong unahin bilhin yun.

After much aggravation with my modem and monitor every time I even so much as tried using them, my mother blessedly helped me lower my escalating blood pressure and bought me new ones... a monitor and a modem. So much for my plan to finally get Genrou a decent set of speakers... well anyway, the modem's blessedly not disconnecting me every few seconds from the net and the monitor's 17 inches. Nalulula ako, as in. Pero I chose this size so para pag nagcocolor ako ng illu, l-16, and whatever stuff mas okay. Haaayyy... I really really want Genrou to have new speakers na though. He's just too bloody silent these past few months.

About school naman, I'm passing everything, thank the gods! Yes, even Human Anatomy & Physiology. I actually enjoy that subject, maybe it's coz of my prof who I have a tiny, itty bitty crush on (weheheheh) all because okay siyang magturo kumpara dun sa isa pa naming prof na gusto kong isumpa everytime naaalala ko ang way ng pagtuturu niya. Hay nako. Can't stay long tuloy lagi sa net coz too busy studying talaga. Hell semester to pero nag-e-enjoy ako! Wahahaha! Labo no?

Wai! Ana-nechan's back to writing again! Can't wait to read Illu 13 & 14 edited and Countdown 6!!! Anu na kaya nangyari sa L-16 chapter 2? Sensya na ne Nechan kung di ko ma-send agad sayo yung the rest of the pix I said I'd make for L-16. Tsumetiempo pa kasi ako na magka-free time ako to draw, lagi kasing may assignment at mga tests e.

Guids!!! Akala ko ba e one week ka lang sa US? Di ka na uuwi? Waaaaaa... noooooooo!!! Umuwi ka muna! Bigyan mo muna ako ng pasalubong!!! HAHAHAHHAH!!! Lolz! Biro lang. Reunion muna tayo bago ka mag-alsabalutan talaga ha? Ha?!
